Raymond's specialty was raising Spotted Poland China hogs. He was survived by 4 children, 2 sons-in-law, 9 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving were 3 brothers, Lawrence of Eugene, Oregon; Hugh of California and Francis of Algona, Iowa; 3 sisters-in-law and 6 nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a member of the Mercer Center Methodist Church and was always active in many community affairs. He was
happiest when doing for others. One of his greatest joys was having his family near him.9
